Wednesday Evening Activities
University students meet weekly on Wednesday evenings for a variety of stimulating activities that help them learn how to take on today’s big issues and face challenging conversations. There is also time for personal prayer, reflection and one on one mentoring.
Leadership weekends, philosophy classes and topical lectures are organized throughout the year.
On the third Wednesday of each month, there is a recollection instead of the regular program.
A recollection is a time to step out of the rush of day to day life and reflect on your priorities and direction. It allows time for personal prayer; reflections are guided by a priest and quiet time to renew and refresh your goals.
A silent retreat is an opportunity to spend a weekend reflecting on your life’s direction, your relationship with God and others and to make resolutions for the future.
An annual retreat for University and Grade 12 students is scheduled for September 9 to 11. If you are interested in attending please contact us directly.
UNIV is a unique opportunity offered to young women in university and college each spring. UNIV participants travel to Rome for Holy Week. UNIV participants attend a meeting with Pope Benedict and with the Prelate of Opus Dei, Bishop Javier. The students also visit many historical sites and participate in the UNIV Conference, which has a different theme each year, designed to enrich their education and to build up society. Please telephone 604-222-8317 for more information.
