Young Professionals

Tuesday Evening Activities

Young professionals meet regularly to learn how to live well while busily earning a living.  Outreach activities, both local and abroad, provide a chance to put leadership skills to work for social justice, and promote a spirit of service and concern for others. Classes on understanding the faith help develop a greater love for the teachings of the Church, and to integrate Christian principles with ordinary life and professional work. Recollections provide time for quiet reflection and prayer to nourish a personal relationship with God.  One on one mentoring is available upon request.

Young professionals meet weekly on Tuesday evenings.

Recollections

On the fourth Tuesday of each month, there is a recollection instead of the regular program.

A recollection is a time to step out of the rush of day to day life and reflect on your priorities and direction. It allows time for personal prayer; reflections are guided by a priest and quiet time to renew and refresh your goals.

Annual Retreats

A silent retreat is held once each year. This is an opportunity to spend a weekend quietly reflecting on your life’s direction and your relationship with God and others. Retreats are held the second weekend in November.

Retreats are now being managed by Copper Ridge Conference Centre.

The Important Things

In my experience the working world is one that is complex and always changing. The Headford Cultural Group through its activities has helped me realize the important things: how to live a life that is more simple, joyful and free.
